Le Globe Diderot

Delicious food, friendly staff. The real Paris experience! Try the onglet de veau poivre and the café gourmand. Great cocktails too!

I had breakfast at Le Globe, and it was good. I tried both the French and English breakfast options, and they were tasty and satisfying. A great place to stop by for a simple and enjoyable morning meal!

Avoid. I ordered a coffee and a croissant for breakfast. It wasn’t easy because it seemed I was invisible to the waitress even if she was in front of me and the bar was empty. She comes to the table and brings my order, I asked to pay by card, and her reaction was shocking. She basically said: we don’t take cards below 10€, she took my order from the table and left inside without saying anything. I understand they have the right to do so, but there is no need to humiliate clients that are willing to pay for what they ordered.

We had an amazing experience here. Randomly picked the place and turned out to be great. Server was amazing and recommended a great cocktail which now becomes my new favorite. Thank you so much for your hospitality while we were there briefly.

This café has nothing special to it, but is quite overpriced (expect to pay your small Diet Coke around 5€). No flexibility from the staff: they announce that do not accept credit cards under 10€, and wouldn’t accept it for 9,60€ either! In short, not a good experience. There are a lot of far better cafes around!
