It was the first place I visited when I arrived in Paris with my mother. I think the best thing that happened to us was having our first encounter with Karim. We remember him fondly because he was so kind to me and my mother. Of course, the coffee and croissant were delicious.

This bar rips off tourists. They charge locals €2 for coffee and tourists €3.75, and when you complain, they tell you that's the current price and show you a menu they made for tourists. That discrimination isn't fair. Don't go there.

The price of coffee is outrageously expensive, and the price at the entrance doesn't match what they charge you later—a complete rip-off. The atmosphere is a bit stuffy.
