Le Comptoir du XVI

At 8 PM on a Sunday evening, the café was practically empty. We both got salmon, that came so fast that’s I’m guessing it was made in the microwave, with some greasy chopped up mixed vegetables on the side. The food was edible very little taste. And it was poorly represented on the plate. I have no idea how this place got so many positive reviews??

Comptoir de 16 is such a beautiful spot: warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, with every plate made with real care. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Whether you stop by for lunch, dinner, or just a drink with friends, it’s always a great experience. Definitely one of my favorite addresses in the 16th! Highly recommend.

My family dined here on our last night in Paris. The food was delicious - among the best we had on our trip! - and the service was spectacular even with our limited French. Would eat here again and again! Highly recommend!

Great food with a really warm welcome from Sylvain who provided us with great service. The mussels were delicious and that was the best entrecôte I had in many years of living in paris. Cooked to perfection. Finish off with an amazing mousse au chocolat. Sylvain provided great service and treated us to nice macarons at the end. I recommend. !!!

Good food. Reasonable price for huge portions. Quick service! The waitress doesn’t speak English tho but she was very helpful with me so highly appreciated that.
