Bistro standards, cocktails & daily lunch menus at a streamlined venue with sidewalk tables....
Nice little place that we stopped and had lunch. Great service. Our server spoke English and was very friendly.
We stopped here for dinner after visiting the catacombs. I had no idea what I was ordering, and it turned out to be the most AMAZING DISH. the waitress so was so friendly to us also and very attentive. We also had a mousse for dessert which was also 10/10. This was arguably the best service we received while in Paris. I would come back anyday.
I can’t believe the 5 star reviews for this establishment. It’s clear from the get go that only French people are welcome. We were sat in the furthest corner they could find. I had to ask twice for a menu and another time again for a drinks menu. When I tried to order more than once, the rude older waiter immediately just walked away. It’s like we were inconveniencing him somehow. Once we ordered, we noticed that we didn’t received any bread at all; yet every single other table of people that had ordered received it. The food came out and was greasy. The portion of fish that my partner received was pathetic; especially considering the woman who sat next to us received one nice big piece and not the measly leftovers. I can’t profess enough how they made us feel so unwelcome and I wouldn’t recommend this place to any person.
We were looking for a place to eat after visiting the catacombs . We were not disappointed ! We felt very welcomed, The prices were decent the service was great ! Our server was very attentive and helpful . She realized we didn’t speak great French and provided us with an English menu ( which was much appreciated) . The food was excellent . We tried the gnocchi and the comptoir burger , both were delicious. Although this place is very close to the exit of the catacombs it didn’t feel like a tourist trap . Bonus if you like puppies visit them across the street when your done !!!
Small, neighborhood bar with friendly atmosphere, easy to spot location. Nice food here, although beef was a bit grisly and tough to finish. The impeccable creme brulee was velvety, topped with pungent lavender. Salmon plate cooked as should be to leave a crusty skin. This restaurant will leave you with comforting feelings of France. Or maybe it was the generous pour of Absinthe?
