Le Castiglione

I was genuinely looking forward to visiting Café La Castellon after hearing that it had reopened. Unfortunately, the experience was beyond disappointing and completely ruined by the service. The waiter named Matthew was shockingly rude and unprofessional. His attitude was hostile from the start, and his behavior came across as discriminatory and racist, which is absolutely unacceptable in any establishment. What made matters worse was a serious billing issue: items that were never served to us were added to our bill. When we calmly asked for these items to be removed, Matthew accused us of lying, saying we were served the items—when in fact, he was the one who never served them. Being called liars by a waiter, in front of others, is humiliating and completely out of line. There was no attempt to listen, resolve the issue, or show even basic respect. Instead, the situation escalated due to arrogance and a complete lack of customer service. This was not just bad service—it was offensive, disrespectful, and deeply unpleasant. A restaurant can have good food or a nice reputation, but behavior like this makes it not worth visiting. Sadly, this place is not for me, and I will not be returning. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because no customer should be treated this way.

The old Casti, still so good. Really happy to see them back at it. Gorgeous interior, just like the old place, red velvet & dark mahogany interiors. Really lovely bathrooms with nice lighting. The service was super, very attentive waiter who couldn’t do enough for us. The menu is very similar. We had the Casti burger, with really good fries & extra burger sauce. - so so good. Ended with the apple tart fin - perfect.

Casti is back!! The new location may not be as prime as the original, it at least its back! The burger & fries do not disappoint and the “Casti” secret sauce is as delicious as ever. The service is just as solid as it used to be and the interior gives chic French vibes. This will always be a go-to spot for me!

I had a lovely experience. Walk in no reservation table for two. Service was quick and kind and the food was delicious. So happy they finally reopened! Got the burger and foie gras and whiskey on the rocks.

The worst service in Paris they are very rude and shameless they refused to let us set beside each other and the place is empty and the manager told the waitress to cancel our order and not service u our food unless we set on a tiny table face to face and have our lunch otherwise we will not be served anything!! What a horrible , disgusting and disgraceful way to threat customers and the place is empty in midday NEVER GOING BACK AGIN !!
