Le Café Suédois

After several bad experiences finally I decided to write this review. The staffs there are not friendly at all. they will kick u out if u don’t order the lunch. One time i ordered A coffee and a cake been told not allowed to sit inside. Another time I arrived at 11:58 , 2 mins before the official opening time, they let you wait in the cold without any hesitation. Beside the food s so so boring. Will not definitely go back to spend any penny.

Gâteau aux Poires A base of pear slices in a cake pastry with walnuts and fresh cream. 5€ Food: 2/5 Fair. This particular cake was a bit tasteless with nothing exciting. Its slight dry texture did not help the experience. Service: 5/5 Excellent. Polite and professional. Ambience: 5/5 Excellent. The view of Sainte-Clotilde from the terrace is absolutely stunning. The place feels like a hidden secret. Cleanliness: 5/5 Excellent. Not a spot of concern. Even the outdoor tables looked freshly wiped. Value: 5/5 Excellent. A cup of tea or coffee is only 2€50, and a gâteau at 5€ which means a light snack for only 7€50. Overall: 4.4/5 Very Good. I think I may have struck unlucky with this one pastry selection. I'm definitely going to revisit and try the popular cinnamon rolls. Perhaps next time I can rate the food better and raise the overall to Excellent.

I’ve visited here twice, always been a pleasant experience. Staffs are kind, cakes are gorgeous🧚‍♀️ Sandwich was a bit disappointing, but it was healthy.

Very nice lemon poppy seed cake and swedish chocolate cake! Loved the terrace too. If you're looking for a tranquil place in Paris, café suédois is perfect :)

Cozy place in Paris, hidden from the streets. Loved the kanelbullar and makes me want to go back to eat and study !
