Lovely staff!! Extraordinary space and food!!

Best breakfast in Paris! We stopped by when in the area and saw the sign for the breakfast “formule” for only €5.50. What a deal! Best croissant of our trip, excellent café au lait, and literally the best freshly-squeezed orange juice we have ever had. If I lived in the area, I would eat there every day. Service was excellent, too!

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful night at le cadre noir. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. If you want a real parisian experience, far from crowded and overexpensive touristic places in the centre, this place is for you. Everyone was also very polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

Told to go sit down when we got inside. Then no staff visible after that. 2 more couples turned up and sat down, no staff. By this time 4 people waiting at the counter, maybe for takeaway. Didn't see the staff member who told us to sit as they disappeared into the back. A male staff member came out from the back a few times for something under the counter then dissappeared again. We sat in there for 30 mins then decided to leave. No one had been served in that time and no one had even had there order taken.
