Le Barbouquin

Cute lil café tucked away in a silent street in Belleville. The owner is warm and kind, just wished the golden latte had more flavor, it felt mildly watery. The carrot cake and pancakes were nice :)

The food was good but the coffee tasted pretty standard and bitter, which is a shame because I was looking forward to something less akin to the usual commercial coffee beans and more flavourful. The chocolate cake thr owner makes is a killer though.

This place is amazing for a yummy quiet breakfast. The lady was so kind and smiling all the time.

Beautiful place to have coffe or breakfast, it made you feel as if you re at home,confy atmosphere The lady on the counter is sweet, welcoming and helpful We had a coffee with a croissant Another latte with a plate of rice omelette, courgette and pitas As shown in the pic. There is a policy no phone is allowed in the coffee shop, if you need to have or take a call you have to go outside

This place is magical if you’re the type to enjoy spaces being run by people who genuinely love what they’re doing, cooking food with all their love and care and in a cozy atmosphere- with piano, chill slow vibes and lots of fun art decorations. Thank you for this space Yohanna! Makes me want to live in Paris forever 🥰🙏🏼🧡
