Stylish outfit with exposed-stone walls serving traditional brews, plus Taiwanese tea & cake....
Absolutely obsessed with this place. The sesame and peanut butter cakes are hands down the best I’ve ever had and probably the tastiest dirty chai I’ve tried so far. Special shoutout to Sandy for the sweetest, most attentive service. Such a great vibe, can’t wait to come back!!
WHO OPENS A CAFE AND ONLY OWNS 8 CUPS!?!? We sat in and they served us paper cups when they advertise their drinks in beautiful ceramic cups. I ended up counting the cups they had in total and they only had 8 cups. Disappointing. Was trying to support a fellow Taiwanese but ended up being even more disappointed than any other chain. I guess it’s just for the pictures… plus the extremely uncomfortable seats and tables. Plus, the were so slow
Laïzé is a peaceful escape tucked in the Marais. The minimal decor and warm lighting make it feel like a quiet tea house. Menu focuses on Japanese and Taiwanese teas, plus beautiful coffee blends. Perfect for a calm solo break or low-key catch-up.
The place is really cozy. Of course they also have good coffee. It’s a bit pricier but would definitely come back here for the vibe. It would be nice if you have more pastry options.
Cute little cafe that famous for their matcha latte then I decided to get one, and it’s been raining all day long lately in autumn. My first impression of this cafe is really warm but unfortunately not welcoming. When I visited there’s just two people staffs there 1 is busy making coffee and tea, one is busy for ordering. But they don’t speak nicely and welcoming, and they don’t offering you another cakes to buy, they’re also not saying thank you and smiling. The matcha latte was good tho. When I asked for the lid of cup for take away they answered with a hand pointing to the corner not without saying anything, and it’s rude service for overpriced latte. And the funny thing I found, in fact is Laize means comeback anytime in Taiwan language it’s written in their 100% claimed as biodegradable takeaway cup. But the staff when I go out they don’t say the Laize word, they don’t event say merci, au revoir etc when I say that to them, they’re just busy making stuffs. Well I said goodbye then.
