La Terrasse de Lyon

Arrived from Italy on the train and found this gem. Short walk from the station. It was snowing so we sat in the window and watched. Had the best French onion soup that we had all trip in France! And the tiramisu was devine. Very cool waitress too that joked around with us but also was very attentive and food was served suoer quick. Highly recommend!

update 2nd visit burger is 3/5 and tiramisu is too sweet for me this time is 3/5 for food Cheese soup was great!!! My main seafood with couscous was okay~ my friend’s risotto was great ~~ overall good experience worth a visit

I spent four weeks in Paris and Portugal, exploring a wide variety of restaurants — from simple local spots to famous and renowned places. Yet none of them delivered as much value or gave me such a great experience as Terrasse de Lyon. This restaurant is not expensive or fancy, but it truly excels at what it promises: excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and surprisingly delicious dishes. One highlight is the tuna with a crust and horseradish sauce. If you enjoy fresh tuna and the distinctive taste of horseradish, this dish is simply a must-try. Simple, yet incredibly flavorful. The price is fair and reasonable for the quality, and the overall experience was so positive that I consider this restaurant one of the best discoveries of my trip. I highly recommend Terrasse de Lyon to anyone visiting Paris, especially near Gare de Lyon. Don’t miss it — it will be a wonderful surprise.

Very friendly staff. Good food. Cool atmosphere. We had a great evening.

It's not a first time we stop by to have drinks or food. This time wanna say how lovely it is, service was very fast coz we had 2h before train and the food was amazing. Delicious! And toilets clean, very good for Paris :)
