La Pinte du Nord

I have seen some negative reviews of this hotel, but I don't know what people expect from a budget hotel. Yes, it is basic, and could do with a lick of paint, but it is very clean, very peacefull and the location is perfect. The bar that fronts it is just a perfect example of Parisian city life. Great beer, and good food and good prices

Very cool staff, and delicious breakfast. And good beers. The rooms are old but sleeping accommodations are good. Had a wonderful stay at this place. Suggest staying at this place if you want to save some money on the hotell. Room nr 4 is awesome

Cheap and hospitable, even though it's right next to a major transport hub. No bullshit, definitively enough space to sit. Can recommend the bar.

I decided to write a review because the other reviews here seemed off-putting to me. I chose this place at midnight because I didn’t want to sleep in an 8-bed dorm for 33 euros. I went to the bar counter, and I will never forget how politely and professionally I was served—I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel in London, respect for that. The room was a single for 39 euros, only 7 euros more, and you don’t have to sleep in a crowded room with strangers, and you can store your things safely. The room wasn’t anything fancy, but for this price, it was comfortable, and the bedding was clean and smelled nice. It’s a shame the building is old and I could hear everything happening on the floor, even people going to the bathroom, which is downstairs. But despite all that, I would choose this option over sleeping like sardines in a can.!

Stayed one night after a late Eurostar and it is very conveniently located. The service is good but the rooms are quite basic. Breakfast is a good deal and we even went back for lunch when collecting our bags as it is very reasonably priced for it's location.
