La Gitane

A quiet, acquired taste. As British travellers, it's certainly not made for us but we still thoroughly enjoyed a very local place. Drinking cheap wine while local Parisiens wander in for an after-work beer or espresso was a great experience. Seemed to be a fair few people alone outside enjoying a solitary beer. Excellent stuff!

Good place for a drink away from the crowds

Very nice place to sit on the street and have a beer 🍺 Very trusing publican. Wasn't interested in charging us until we had finished drinking.

It's a tobacco shop which doubles as a brasserie. The staff are pleasant enough and the service is pretty quick. It's ideally located next to the Dupleix metro station of the line 6 and due to the fact they sell tobacco products in France/Paris, it's normally got a lot of traffic. For me this is more of a quick stop in the event that I'm in the area versus a destination.
