This restaurant in the lobby of the George V felt both laid back and very chic. A truly delightful location to get breakfast, lunch or just spend the afternoon people watching. We had lunch here upon our arrival in Paris and really enjoyed our club sandwich and ratatouille. The Bloody Mary and French fries were also a 10/10. The hotel’s signature breakfast was also outstanding. I loved the table assortment of butters, jams, honey and bee pollen as well as the lavish buffet.
We went for George V Tea Time Beautiful tea set. Beautiful place. Good service. The receptionist asked if we wanted to give them our jackets. And then waited to be sat. Our server introduced the tea set. It includes champagne or non-alcoholic sparkling tea. The seating arrangement was not the best. We were sharing a sofa with another couple. Also we were near the service “pass” area or where they bring food, so my husband could hear all they’re talking about such as break time and what not in french. On the third course, they served our choice of hot drink - we chose hot chocolate. There were supposed to be 4 courses, but they brought together the third and fourth, so it felt too much/too heavy. We took away the cake coz we were full. Good experience, but a little bit overpriced for everything.
Always magical here! I’ve been going for their Christmas tea time each year for the past 8 years! Back when Maxime Frederic was still the chef to the fantastic Michael Bartocetti! Always love what they have to offer in the menu. This year’s Bûche de Nöel is by far our favorite! Service was top notch as usual. I got married at the FS Paris a few years back. Never doubted their food and service. Looking forward to come back again this year!
Had the most wonderful afternoon tea at La Galerie, Four Seasons George V. Everything felt so refined. from the elegant setting to the beautifully presented food. The savoury bites were absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced and full of flavour. The hot chocolate was rich and indulgent little on the heavy side, but totally worth it! It’s truly one of those Parisian experiences you shouldn’t miss. Just make sure to book in advance it’s a must!
Came here for brunch and tried their onion soup which was probably my most favorite onion soup, and the pasta with ham, Comté cheese & truffle. They were not shy on truffle though surprisingly it wasn’t the most potent truffle flavor. Either way it was a tasty blend. Desert was hot chocolate that I enjoyed.
