La Chope Champerret

Definitely the best spot to eat around the Champerret area! They have awesome breakfast and lunch deals, the wine tastes amazing and the owner is always chatting and socializing with all the customers.

The place looked cute from the outside but served us spoiled meat. Our waitress spoke English with us when we walked in but when we let her know our lunch was rotten (it smelled and tasted horrible and was genuinely inedible) she pretended to not understand us. Our waitress didn’t check to see how the food was and I paid the bill in full. After I paid, I wanted to let them know that the meat was fully spoiled (a health concern) and then the whole wait staff started pretending that they didn’t speak English. The bartender was laughing behind a menu at their performance. The only good thing about the restaurant was their French fries. I think you will get food poisoning if you eat here.

I really enjoyed my meal. Great confit and a nice cold beer. The service was good and the toilet facilities were clean. It wasn’t very busy during my visit, that meant my food was prepared quickly and to a good standards. The waitresses was friendly and made me feel welcome. The menu was not to big, not too short. There was a selection of food and drinks, and a selection of desserts. This place is not very expensive and I definitely recommend it.
