The food and service was fantastic here. Staff were very friendly. It was very reasonably priced for its location as the street near Notre Dame has a great atmosphere

I enjoyed my experience here! They did warn us that Mondays are not necessarily the best day for seafood (sold out of some items) but the beef I ordered was delicious, along with the onion soup! Everybody in my group was pleased with their experience!

Just wanted a quick coffee and from the outside this cafe seemed rather pleasing. Maître d was pleasant on arrival, showed me to a seat and gave me a menu. He then proceeded to get very upset when all I ordered was a coffee, to quote him “I have a very small place”, which would be valid had the cafe not been half empty at the time. Grumpily presented me with my coffee and stormed off returning a moment later to throw the bill at me, then complained again when I didn’t have exact change to pay. The coffee was perfectly acceptable but with such stereotypically bad French service I think I’ll choose another cafe next time.

This place was fantastic! Our first time ever in Paris and this little place was within walking distance from our hotel. We had a nice table outside where we could watch all the people walking by. You can choose from a price fixed menu for 21 Euro. You get an appetiser, main course, and desert. It was perfect and the food was delicious! Our waiter knew only a little English and we only knew a little French but we had no trouble at all and he was so friendly and helpful!

Recommend? YES! Atmosphere is folksy, friendly, welcoming, romantic. Lovely French atmosphere and makes you feel apart of the people. I ordered Cheese Ravioli, Beef Stew, Chocolate Cake for 18.50 euros. I'm expecting cheesy goodness, beefy feelings, and chocolate envelopment. UPDATE: The cheese ravioli is soft and rich in cheese. Not hot, not cold--right in the middle where the tongue can savor all the cheese. The beef stew is juicy and flavorful--the meat is tender, the potatoes are soft, and together they smoothly satisfy the stomach. The chocolate cake is superb. Perfectly rich and the right size to leave one feeling full and content at the meal's end. Service is attentive, quick. I came here 11/25/2017, around 07:30 PM.
