Overall, I was quite disappointed. It is unfortunate that you cannot get *decaffeinated* coffee, especially for a coffee shop, this should really be a basic option. On top of that, it was not possible to add avocado even for an extra charge, although this was indicated in the app, which was confusing and misleading. I also found the place rather expensive, particularly considering the lack of flexibility. I understand that a complete change of a dish may not always be possible, but simple adjustments like removing an ingredient or swapping it for something cheaper should normally be manageable. Not allowing any small changes does not feel very customer-friendly. The service itself was ok,, but overall the café seems quite rigid and expensive for what it offers.

Really local joint, hardly any tourist which is a good sign. It was packed on this weekend but staff was super polite , especially the bald guy, super chill and speaks good English. The latte was great and the coffee had a good kick to it. Breakfast pancake was too much for my daughter so we shared. It was delicious. Come for the coffee stay for the chatter.

Amazing hospitality and exceptional specialty coffee! The staff at Coutume Babylone, Lorena, were so warm and welcoming, taking the time to explain the menu and introduce the coffees with real passion. The brews were outstanding, and you can feel their dedication to the craft—definitely a must-visit café in Paris.

Best coffee in Paris! Excellent service and explanation of the difference in each of their coffee beans, where they are sourced, how they are processed, etc. On top of that, the breakfast was phenomenal! Will definitely be visiting again!
