Glass exploded in hand, disappointing response from staff I went to this restaurant with friends for a drink in the afternoon. I ordered a coke, which was served in a glass for us to pour ourselves. While I was holding the glass, it suddenly exploded in my hand. I wasn’t squeezing it or doing anything unusual, it simply shattered, which makes me seriously question the quality and safety of the glassware. The staff helped clean the table, but no one apologised. Even worse, the waitress “jokingly” told my friend that it was probably because I held the glass too tightly, while I was away tending to a cut from the broken glass. Fortunately, the cut was not serious, but it could very easily have been much worse. That comment felt very inappropriate given the situation. We later asked for alcohol to disinfect the wound. Despite this clearly being an emergency, the waitress took a long time, served other requests first, and we had to follow up ourselves. Since the glass had exploded all over the table, we were not offered a replacement of the fries that were placed right next to the drink, we had to ask for it ourselves. When it was finally replaced, we were then served only half a portion, without sauce, as if it was assumed we had already eaten some. This felt extremely stingy and missed the point entirely. It’s not about getting free food, but about handling an incident with basic care and responsibility. Overall, instead of being apologetic and reassuring, the staff made us feel like we were causing trouble or asking for too much, even though the incident was clearly not our fault. Service quality matters a lot when deciding whether to return, and after this experience, I don’t see that happening. Finally, the fact that a glass can shatter just from being held normally is concerning. It’s frightening to think what could have happened if this occurred while drinking, and it’s especially dangerous for children. This was handled poorly from start to finish.

I wouldn't order these dishes again. The orange juice was delicious.

Super friendly and nice staff! The place is so cozy, clean and overall really beautiful. The food was extremely good as well!!!

I had a great evening here. The staff was very friendly and the environment was more than welcoming. I will be back!
