Tartare, burgers & cocktails offered in an informal setting with a sidewalk terrace....
Very nice location near the Eiffel tower. But the prices are on the pricier side. For example coffee with milk is 8€. Very good Creme brûlée. But we were quite disappointed as we asked three times for some more water and they brought it on the fourth try. Also they were very eager to get us to leave when we asked for more water. As we were paying, waiter didn’t even ask us if we wanted to leave the tip and just gave himself 5€ tip, even though it specifically said that tip is included in the service and is the costumer’s decision.
Very delicious food and a warm welcome! The place is right next to the Eiffel Tower. A kind gentleman who called us brother and sister in our language :D Thank you! 😊
This is the first bad review I’ve ever written , but in this case I really feel the need to speak up. Few days ago we randomly stopped by this restaurant during the day after a walk near the Eiffel Tower. We were warmly welcomed, served by a very kind men who give great recommendations, the food was good and the dessert completely won me over. We left happy and I said more than once that we should definitely come back. On the last evening of our trip, we decided to return for dinner. The restaurant was half empty and there was no one sitting outside. We were planning to dine inside, but a man at the entrance without asking a single question abruptly said “No, dinner only”, then turned around, went inside, closed the door and stared at us through the glass like he is scared to hear any reply or just running away. I honestly don’t know who he thought he was, but this is exactly how restaurants lose customers. We simply went to a neighboring restaurant and spent a decent amount of money there if that was what he was so worried about. I just make random photo inside at our first time so I keep it here just to prove that we was there before. It’s a bit ironic that I use last evening in Paris for this long texting, but it is what it is. Restaurant with good food and a pleasant atmosphere is losing customers because of the man at the door.
It’s an excellent place to eat or have a drink if you’re in Paris. The staff were incredibly kind and spoke several languages, which really surprised me. On top of that, the food was spectacular and the customer service was outstanding. Without a doubt, a place I’d return to a thousand times on future vacations.
Nice little cafe near Eiffel Tower. Popped in for lunch during a rainstorm and was seated immediately. The food was wonderful and the drinks were cold. The reason I gave less than five stars was the server was short with me (but pleasant with my husband) and seemed disappointed that I didn’t eat all the bread my hot dog was baked in. Other than that it was great!
