Classic dishes like tartare & burgers in a bright, glass-fronted bistro overlooking the cathedral....
Saw this busy café across the road from Notre Dame and decided to take a risk to try this place. It was the correct decision! The star dishes were the Chicken and the Beef Bourguignon... SO delicious, I had to order bread to finish the sauce! After being motivated by the main courses, we ordered the apple tart and crème brûlée too! They were both an absolute delight! The only disappointing part was that when we ordered the French Onion soup, we had mentioned to the guy taking our order that we were sharing it yet when it came to our table, we only received one spoon. Worst yet, it was so busy in the café that the spoon took almost 30 mins after the soup came.. We were concerned that it might get cold. I would have given a 5 out of 5 for service if we didn't have to wait for the spoon. Other than that, I would definitely come back again. I really love their dishes.
Nice place with quite an exceptional Notre Dame view with some cosy tables next to the window. The service was nice, the food is ok. Nothing really special but the location and the view are worth it.
I had a very enjoyable experience at this restaurant located right next to Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. The waiters were, as always, welcoming, friendly, and kind. The atmosphere and décor are lovely, with a close view of Notre-Dame. The food is reasonably priced and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Highly recommended! ☕️🥖🤎
Shockingly easy to get a table on a busy Saturday morning, helpful and English speaking. Reasonably priced. Extensive menu. We had the crepes and croissants - everything you would expect from a French bakery. Wonderful place.
Situated just right across from Notre Dame this is the perfect spot for a quick drink or bite. The hostess out front was shocked when we asked for a table outside. It had been sprinkling throughout the day. There was a free spot at the corner, on the opposite side of the main street. Our corner was the spot where all the uber drivers picked up and dropped off passengers. It was a popular corner. My sister got an americano and crepe. I got a pint to prep for dinner. Let me tell you something , I was tipsy by the time we had to leave. My favorite thing about dropping by a cafe is you get to use their bathroom facilities. The service was great. The guy who waited on us didn’t even write down our order. The food coming out the kitchen when I passed the bar area smelled so good. Kinda wish we had time to have some nibbles, but we had a dinner resy.
