A great spot to get a coffee or drink after a film! We loved chatting with the owners Gloria and José. I was very surprised to see how bad some of the reviews are for this café because we found everything to be very charming and enjoyed meeting the owners. I hope all the other remarks about bad behavior and insulting comments are misunderstandings. It’s clear that the owners created the space to be a social venue so it’s maybe not the best if you’re just looking to take away a coffee or a drink.
The most awful place in Paris!!!! Dont be charmed by the romantic first look of this place.. The owners are real fascists, ready to kill a tourist if they simply take a photo of the interior, not of people, not of food, but just of chairs... Two old scoundrels, a husband and wife, attack a lone woman who doesn't speak French, swinging their fists, banging on the showcase with threatening faces and screams, pouring out tons of aggression, without even a simple human remark that they may have some shitty special rules of their own... Instead, they immediately attack without warning...Avoid this place if you don't wanna invest in people who hated the humans generally, and turned into wild animals.. Don't sponsor their shitty business of three chairs, for which they are literally ready to kill a person...
Not only are items extremely over priced but the owner isn’t honest with her prices. She charged 10 euros when the product clearly had a 7.5 euro sticker. I found out too late when I got home. A small 50cL box of oat milk is 10 euros (i would guess its market price would be something like 2-3 euros) and a small shot of espresso with some milk foam on top is 5 euros (I would guess 3-4 euros as a market price)
YIKES - just read the reviews…this lady does NOT pass the vibe check ❌ Our saga: Owner seemed friendly at first when we entered, but quickly turned sour when we decided not to purchase anything. She asked where my friend was from, then declared herself Portuguese, and continued by insulting my Brazilian friend for a bit before we finally said we were leaving. She followed us out of her store and continued shouting until we walked a few doors down (she wanted us to know her husband was a professor, and she was an artist and a doctor).
Such a great spot. I was in the area and desperately needed a coffee. The sweetest woman served me and made the experience as pleasant as she could. The decorations are adorable and there are so many neat things to buy
