We stopped in for a drink, and sat out the front. Perfect spot to sit and soak in the atmosphere. Lovely staff - really good interaction with a young male server who encouraged us to try the XXL snails, and was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend.
Today I tried Café de Louve and it was fantastic. As a solo traveler, I was a bit nervous dining alone, but the staff greeted me warmly as soon as I arrived. I was seated right away, given time to choose from the quaint menu, and my food arrived quickly and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and well-spoken, and the prices were amazing considering the café is so close to the Louvre. I ordered the Petit-Déj Plus (photo included), which also came with a butter croissant. Everything was fresh, tasty, and generously portioned. I’d definitely recommend this spot.
Good Food, Great Location, Great Service. We were seeking Soupe A L’Oignon and were very satisfied. Our waiter was ready to seat us in and considerate to our family situation. We live in Italy, but their Pizza may have been better. It was Italian style crust with American style toppings, bringing the best of both together.
It was our first evening in Paris, and we were charmed by the Parisian look of this place from the outside. Inside, it was old and stuffy, but relatively quiet. I wish we had never come here. Our waiter was rude from the start. He asked whether we were going to eat or drink something, and when we didn’t answer immediately to his liking, he gave us a very bad attitude. Unfortunately, it wasn’t only the service, the food was disappointing as well. The escargots were not fully cooked, and the sauce was minimal. When the waiter rushed to take my plate, he asked if I still wanted to finish the escargots. I said that I didn’t like them, and he reacted with a huge attitude, as if I didn’t like escargots in general. The issue was that they weren’t prepared properly. Also, my boyfriend paid 10 euros for half a sliced avocado. And what other comments say is true: they don’t offer you your change back, perhaps because they know they won’t get tips with such terribly rude service. Never again!
Very elegant Café nice food specially the onion soup in the hot chocolate we go all the time to have the onion soup specially in the cold weather I like it so much and the service is so good there is waiter his name Yousef. He was helpful and we enjoyed our time after the louver. We had an amazing experience. I recommended to everybody.
