I loved the cozy and warm atmosphere! We tried the ravioli, beef cheek and the duck confit and honestly it was the best food we tried in Paris. everything was so delicious but the beef cheek was especially outstanding! A special mention to the guy who works there, he was super friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved it! 😍

At the end of our France trip we had a week in Montmartre, eating every night at restaurants in the local streets. Our choice was this one, the only one we visited twice. The reasons were the quality and value of the meals, the warm and welcoming manager, and the ambience which is "old Paris" without being fake or too touristy (a bit like the few remaining 'brown cafes' in Amsterdam). The menu varies each night around what is fresh and available although around a core of 'regulars'. The presentation is excellent, the serves neither too big nor too small, with good accompaniments and even a small amuse-bouche as a touch of class. The chocolate mousse dessert is a triumph if on the menu, très riche and silky smooth. The wine selection is very good and suggestions reliable. This is not a 'fine dining' destination but we found it a good cut above others in the area for a convivial, appetising, beautifully presented and satisfying meal, excellent value for money (given it's Paris) even though the nearby competition are also honest and fine restaurants. On our second visit we were remembered and warmly thanked for booking a second time, which we found genuine and friendly.

The perfect restaurant, possibly the best meal I’ve ever had. Low-key atmosphere, great place for a date or just a quiet meal. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back on my next visit to Paris and will be recommending to friends.

We’ve been here three times,last year and again this year and it never disappoints. The food is authentically Parisian and consistently high quality. One of the staff members is especially kind—he even remembered us after a whole year! Such a lovely experience every time.
