Bistrot Renaissance

The setting and atmosphere was really nice, oh and the service was really good too. Just let down by the food quality. We had moules frites and some chicken dish. The muscles were ok but the sauce was quite watery and tasteless. The chicken was very dry and tasted like a ready meal done in the microwave. Could and should be so much better given the local competition.

Excellent food and in my visit I had the nicest people helping me. Special thanks to Gabriel my attentive and patient waiter that did his best to understand my broker french 😁🙏🏼🌞 I highly recommend this place.

I always check ratings before choosing a restaurant, and after this experience I’ll start checking before cafés too. At this street café near Strasbourg–St Denis, I was served two glasses of wine that tasted off, most likely from bottles left open too long. Service was fine, but the bad ratings are deserved.

Sandwich is toasted to perfection, bit soggy on the inside. Can't really taste the inside of the sandwich as the cheese has an intense taste. Looked on the inside of the sandwich which was filled to the brim with toasted cheese. The salad was a bit lacking with greenery just slapped on the plate, but the dressing has made it very good in my opinion. The dressing is sweet yet slaty, mild yet spicy, sour yet sweet. Out of the meal which costs 16€ I would say the dressing is the best part. Is it worth the price.. no 16€ it's just way too expensive for such a mediocre meal. Service is good but they make you wait until you give them a signal to come to you. Meal 4/10 Service 8/10 Location 7/10 Expense 2/10

We went here on our first day in Paris and it was so amazing and funny, we hope that the waiter and people around us found us endearing as we were just so happy to be in Paris and away from the UK that we were were excited everytime something arrived. We even got our bread rolls topped up which was amazing! The wine was really nice, the fries and bread were fantastic and the Cheese and Meat (Mixed) board I heard was amazing. Was a great experience and a fond memory
