Polished bistro dishing up traditional local cuisine & offering a robust wine list....
I came alone and the service was amazing. The people here are very friendly and were very kind with me. The food was incredible and dessert even better if it’s even possible. Also the ambience was very chill and local. Thank you very much!
When we walked up to Bistrot 65, we were immediately welcomed by an extremely friendly woman who made us feel right at home. At that moment, we were the only guests, and she gave us the kind of extra attention that makes a dining experience unforgettable. We started with the Escargots De Bourgogne, which were buttery, tender, and absolutely delicious – the kind of dish that instantly sets the tone for a great meal. For the mains, I had the Foie De Veau Persillé – a veal liver dish with garlic and parsley, served alongside perfectly smooth mashed potatoes. It was rich, flavorful, and honestly one of the best liver preparations I’ve ever tasted. My husband went with the Boeuf Bourguignon, again with potatoes, and it was just unbelievable – hearty, deeply savory, and exactly what you dream of when you think of French comfort food. I ended the evening with a Tonka Bean Crème Brûlée. Now, I know tonka beans are technically illegal in the U.S., but let’s just say I’d happily risk becoming a smuggler if it meant I could enjoy this dessert again. The flavor was unlike anything else – a perfect finale to an already stellar meal. My husband had a Pistachio and Raspberry Millefeuille, that I did not get to taste, but it looked exquisite. Even though we didn’t know about any specials advertised on local groupin-like website (we just happened to stumble across this place naturally) and paid regular menu prices, the whole experience still felt more than fairly priced for the quality we received. Overall, Bistrot 65 delivered an amazing experience: warm service, incredible food, and a cozy Parisian atmosphere. This is the kind of place you dream about when you think of dining in Paris. Highly recommended!
The setting on the Seine was spectacular. A true Parisian experience. The food was delicious, although definitely on the pricier side.
I walked into Bistrot 65 without a reservation and no expectations — and was pleasantly surprised. The fish with creamy sauce is a Parisian classic I always go for, and this one was perfectly executed: tender inside, crispy skin, and great balance of flavors. The dessert, a warm bread pudding with spiced whipped cream, was also just right — sweet but not overwhelming. The service was attentive and the terrace seating cozy and well-lit, ideal for a casual dinner in the city. A great spot for tourists or couples looking for a solid French meal without overplanning.
the food was good, very delicious. the staff was very friendly. thanks to booking on The Fork we got 50% discount for lunch. total 29€ for 2 people and even free drinks. i don't understand why such a good restaurant gets so few stars?? is there something wrong here. for me, i rate 5 stars. thanks for our late lunch.
