Elegant, wood-paneled bistro for classic Lyon-style onion soup & duck confit with regional wines....
Amazing place!! We randomly stumbled upon this spot while walking around and it completely exceeded our expectations. The steak frites and escargots were absolutely incredible. The steak was so tender you could literally cut it with a butter knife, and the flavor was amazing. Also, a great wine selection. The service was also fantastic—super friendly and attentive—and the prices were very reasonable for how great the food was. I would 10/10 recommend this place and would go back in a heartbeat, especially for that amazing steak.
Delicious food and great service. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable and they speak English to all foreigners. If the line at Relais is overwhelming come on over to Le Bistro Marbeuf. Onion soup 10/10
Tried to go to Chez Andres but they had no space. They recommend this restaurant if we wanted french food. It was a great recommendation. We ordered escargot and french onion soup for starters, both were exquisite. For the entree, we got beef bourguignon and duck confit. The duck was amazing. The beef bourguignon was really good, I really enjoyed the mushrooms. Best french onion soup we've had in Paris this trip. Service was very fast, can't thank Chez Andres enough for the recommendation.
This restaurant was recommended to us by a local friend and he bet his life the food will be awesome. True enough, this place didn’t disappoint. We were here for a birthday celebration, and everything was perfect. French onion soup was boiled with love. Duck confit was cooked till beautifully tender. Poulet was roasted till perfection. Tiramisu was their house special dessert for the day. Our waiter was also extremely attentive and made our entire dining experience so much better. We highly recommend this place to everyone!
Do note that baby strollers are not allowed in the restaurant due to lack of space, they will request for you to leave it outside. Food and atmosphere were pretty nice but i felt like service could be better. They didn’t feel as friendly and welcoming as i would have expected, not sure if it is because we are asians or just because that is the norm there. They have 4 toilet cubicles downstairs as well. 20 oct 2025 Ordered below mains - all approved Souris d’agneau (lamb shank) 26 eur Pave de saumon 24 eur Duck confit 26 Fish and chips 22 eur Salmon 24 eur
