Bartoque

My husband and I visited Bartoque based on Google reviews/the rating and we were not disappointed. The restaurant has a relaxed, friendly vibe and the staff were lovely. We were served mostly by one of the owners Paul, and he is incredibly passionate about his restaurant and his food. I needed to change my order slightly and he was very accommodating, making different suggestions and asking questions to ensure he served me something I would enjoy, and I certainly did! I had the truffle and ricotta ravioli and my husband had the beef tartare, and both were delicious. We would highly recommend to those visiting Paris!

It was a wonderful dinner! The chef and all the staff were phenomenal! We entered with two very hungry and tired kids and the chef was kind enough to let them try the ravioli with pecorino and ricotta, so that they could assess if truffles added to the filling are really fine for them. We ordered two large portions, which they gobbled up. Our main dishes were also fantastic- my husband’s hearty portion of beef tartare could have probably been a delicious meal for at least two people. The chocolate cake was flavourful with some incredible spices and an engaging texture. Overall it was a great experience. Food was delicious and service was impeccable. We will surely come back!

We had the most amazing experience and food at this restaurant! We stumbled upon it and were greeted enthusiastically by the chef who went over the menu with us and waited on us personally. The staff have great personality and hospitality, the food was the best we had on our trip and in general in a long time. The braised beef cheek was extremely flavorful and tender and I have never had better french fries in my life. Better than any American cheeseburger! The chocolate cake was melt in your mouth. I wish we lived in Paris just so we could go here regularly! Thank you for making the highlight of our trip.

This is my first review, it was so good I felt compelled. Amazing find (thank you google), the most perfect bistro! Lively atmosphere, the food was exceptional, high quality, fresh, fast and innovative. Very good selection of wine and of course great espresso. The cherry on the top for the perfect bistro, a warm welcome from the host, to the waiters to the barman. Even in a very busy service, they all smiled and made us feel at home. A brilliant spot for 3 girls spending a quick break in Paris. Thank you, it was memorable.

Really nice simple (in the nicest possible way) food, tasty and well presented. Friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of drinks, including guest beer. Had the 2 course menu - highly recommended.
