Au Vieux Châtelet

We went there with paris go city pass. The food and drinks were nice. The staff was very friendly. Location of this restaurant is also very nice.

On the basis of the "Croque Madame", which , with an American coffee, came to €24, I would not be coming back here again. The croque itself was not mean, but more like a rather sad cheese toastie, accompanied by the worst "frites" I've ever had in France, and a passable salad. Nothing here that I would really care to remember.

We ate here for our first meal in Paris. Very nice ambience and right next to the Seine. Our waiter was not the most friendly, but we still had a fabulous time. The steak tartare was great and did not make me ill!

Got here with the Paris pass. Food was relatively good, service a d ambiente also great. Very nice location with views to the Island. The food with the Paris pass is enough to have lunch for s normal person (I eat a lot). We also ordered coffee, that was quite pricey, even for Paris. But I understand the location. I'm taking one star off because the food was nothing special plus the prices are a bit high for what you can find in Paris

We stopped in for a glass of red wine and ended up staying longer when the rain started pouring. A second carafe of wine and a shared meat and cheese platter kept us happy. The platter was generous and came with plenty of fresh baguette. The only small note was that the side salad came undressed—though it wasn’t really necessary alongside the rest. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our waiter was both friendly and attentive. A lovely spot to linger in Paris.
