Au Corona

Whilst in Paris we decided to have our first morning breakfast at this restaurant. We sat outside and after 15 minutes no one came out to see us so I went into the restaurant to ask if they have table service to which they answered yes someone will be out. 10 minutes later out came a waiter he took our order Did not speak or smile and went back inside. When our breakfast arrived, we wanted some butter and out came a lady Waiter I asked for some butter. She ignored me and went inside. Not sure but we have experienced this kind of behaviour in Paris quite a lot in the last couple of days where the waiters can’t be bothered and their work is a chore. Very rude and no customer service. We sat outside, staring at the mosque, other than the Eiffel Tower so was not an enjoyable experience. Food was mediocre croissant was very small. Not returning

Sofiane provided the best service I have had in the many months of living in France. So friendly, charasmatic and full of energy. He made my dining experience the best I have had in Paris. The food was really good and for dessert, I asked for him to surprise me, the baba rhum did not disappoint. And to end the meal, he treated me to a special house rum, with sweetness and spice from cinnamon, and twist with mango. Highly recommend.

First of all, one big Thank you to the best waiter my wife and I ever met - Sofiane. From the very first contact with him, he was great, helpful, very patient and he is a perfect example how a waiter should behave and be like. Regarding the food, I tried snails for the first time ever and they were great. My wife had a chicken salad. which was also great. Edit: a posted a picture of the meals we had.

Great food at a reasonable price for a touristy area. The onion soup and beef bourguignon were amazingly tasty & our waitress incredibly helpful.

I’m rather surprised by the negative reviews here as my son and I had a great experience. We initially only wanted a drink and lite bite to eat but enjoyed the people watching from our sidewalk table so much we stayed a good while. While not the norm in Paris, we ordered a bit of food and when we finished we ordered more. The waitress was very friendly and kind and the food was quite tasty and well presented. I would definitely return!
