Legendary 1903 tea room offering refined pastries & hot chocolate in a belle epoque-style setting....
The interior is great, and that's about it. The hot chocolate is nice, but nothing I haven't tried before. The cakes also underwelming - we tried their classic Mont B something, and it's basically whipped cream with chocolate on top. Overhyped but the ambience is nice and original.
An elegant and truly Parisian experience. The interior is beautiful and refined, with a classic atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re part of old Paris. I tried the tea and it was excellent, aromatic, high quality, and perfectly served. The pastries were beautifully presented, and everything felt sophisticated and well curated. It can be quite busy, but it’s definitely worth visiting if you want to experience one of Paris’ most iconic tea rooms. — Arlinda
Fun spot, perfect for pre/post Louvre! The salmon eggs benedict, eggs and pastries were very good. Obviously the star of the show is the hot sipping chocolate matched with subtly sweet whipped cream. They also have a little pastry shop and gift shop (bottles of sipping chocolate = great gift for back home)!
We have visited Angelina on several occasions now and it never disappoints. The hot chocolate is so soft and rich, it is quite literally the best I have ever had. The petit déjeuner parisien is very well priced for what it offers, but we recently had the brunch which is priced at 45€ but my gosh it is worth every penny! Left feeling super full ! Service has always been very good too.
We stopped in for afternoon tea. We waited for about 30 minutes outside in line. Not bad for how popular it is. We even managed to get a nice seat upstairs rather than in the crowded main area downstairs. I got the Cordon Bleu which was phenomenal. The crust was breading and some kind of seed mixture. She got the onion soup which was also really good. We finished with the Mon Blanc. She got regular which was less sweet. I got the caramel version which was great for a sweet tooth. The hot chocolate was great. But really thick. The waitress we had was really kind. Due to the number of people, we did have to wait a bit for everything. But overall it was great service. We really enjoyed our meal.
