We enjoyed this resto two much that we visited twice during our trip. Combing truly friendly staff with great food, this place would receive a strong recommendation to my mates and family alike. Definitely worth a visit, if not two.
Dios miioooo. Homemade tamales packed with so much flavour! The salsa macha also one of our favourites. We came at 3pm so not a usual hour but no wait, it’s such a cute hole in the wall and they make it all fresh. Don’t sleep on this spot! Also lots of gluten free options with the tamales being maíz.
They were closed, but busy making tamales for the next day when we walked in. Welcome, they said, and made us three tired American tourists some fresh tamales that were OUT OF THIS WORLD yummy. And we chatted in a mix of Spanish and English. Very kind people, amazing cooks and we'll go back again and again. What could be better....
Delicious, homemade, flavorful and fresh. First day we tried to eat here, they were sold out. But, we prevailed the following day. Totally worth it. Make your way to this spot if you want some innovative and authentic Mexicana cuisine.
Tiny counter spot serving up great tamales. Is it a good - above average spot if you’re in the neighborhood and craving tamales? Absolutely. Service was attentive. We arrived around 12 noon on a Sunday and only one other diner was present. By the time we left the place was packed (5 other diners). Mole was rich and flavorful. You don’t need to go out of your way to eat here. Tamales were good, but not life changing. I enjoyed the kombucha, the Rose wine was sadly canned, and not out of a bottle.
