I can't remember how I found this cafe but I am glad I did! The cafe delivers on all key aspects - customer service, value, food quality and ambiance. I went there for breakfast and ordered a freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and a small cup of their daily fruit. Both the juice and the fruit were delicious! Then I ordered the huevos rancheros and that dish was also very tasty. The cafe appears to be a bakery as well so they have a bunch of different sweet breads and cakes. I definitely need to come back to try their conchas and their coffee. Overall, I recommend this cafe as a solid spot for anyone looking for a good breakfast spot.
Disappointing experience overall. The flat white was served far too hot, well beyond a reasonable drinking temperature. The eggs were completely unsalted, and there was no salt or pepper available on the table, which is basic for any breakfast service. The bacon was clearly pre-cooked long in advance; it was cold and had the texture of something prepared hours earlier. The only real positive were the fries. They were served hot, although they also lacked seasoning. Service was okay at best—polite but inattentive and nothing that stood out as good or memorable. At 345 pesos, this was definitely not worth the price. Overall, the meal felt careless in execution, with very basic mistakes that should not happen in a café or restaurant offering breakfast.
Nice place with healthy breakfast options. We liked the veggie omelette a lot. The service is amazing - the staff is very professional, fast and attentive. Giving the place 4 starts only because I felt that the prices very a bit high
Beautiful cafe with on-premises fresh bakery. On one side of the cafe, there is a baker that bakes all the goodies, it’s open kitchen style - you can see it all happen. Lovely place we plopped to have brunch. They are popular and busy. That may have contributed to the slowness in service a bit. Food was all fresh and fantastic. Green juice and coffee were really good. Mimosas and cocktails weren’t quite strong. The traditional bakery was fun to taste and unique. The only thing we didn’t eat was the baguette sandwich - the prosciutto tasted rancid, so we just ate all the other great plates with eggs and sauces. We had a leisurely delicious time. The space has a second floor, there are some tables there too. We were seated indoors in the main dining area. They seem to have couple of spots in the city, so you might see it in other districts. Enjoy!
Great spot for breakfast, highly recommend. Best chilaquiles and enchiladas we had on our CDMX trip.
