Kaffee Berlin

A true gem in the San José Insurgentes neighborhood. The coffee was excellent, and the ciabatta, besides being a generous portion, was delicious. They offer a wide variety of desserts, and the place is charming: it has a small garden in the back and spacious tables that invite you to linger. The service was very good.

Super quiet place, delicious dishes, the brownies 10/10, the girl who served me was super nice, attentive, she told me her name is Itzel, and her strawberry milkshake 10/10, I recommend it if you want to have a nice time, read a book or chat

I went because I was in the area and needed a quiet café to work and take a class, and I stumbled upon Kaffee Berlin. I quite enjoyed the experience, but I think they have some significant areas for improvement. The food tastes good, although the dishes are quite basic, literally like what you'd find at a regular café. The prices are very affordable, and they accept card payments. The service could be better; it can be a bit slow and sluggish. There's only one waitress, and she has to manage more than seven tables on her own. On top of that, her boyfriend is always with her in the restaurant, distracting her, making her confused, and further delaying orders. I don't think he's an employee, and I don't think he should be allowed in, as it gives the café a bad impression of disinterest. 🥯 ☕️ 🥖

Good coffee

I went a few weeks ago and it was an awkward experience because the people who work there are kind of rude because I said hi and no one respond me back, they make me feel rejected, something that I really loathe and they took too long to take my order, I asked for a vanilla milkshake and a sandwich. The food was very average, so freaking tiny and expensive. I suppose the area calls for it but I would ask for better flavor and service if I paid those prices. Bad experience so I'm never coming back.
