Juan Valdez Café

This is a great local spot with a very friendly owner. I come here often to speak to the owner who knows all the local neighbors who come down and chat with eachother. Herbal tea selection is great!

Asked for eggs instead of ham and was charged 50 pesos extra for it without letting me know. Besides that it is a beautiful pal e and the food is good.

Always looking for a sunny spot to have early morning coffee set back from the traffic in Juarez, as this 'hood ain't (yet) La Condesa or Roma, lol. i found it here. friendly staff & owners, & soft chill jazz music. Very pleasant spot. Comfy chairs. didn't try the food, but they are also open late to have a glass of Mexican wine or aperol spritz. This ex-pizzeria reminds me of an Italian cafe-bar (but with better music!). highly recommend for cafe or drink. will report back on la comida 🙌

My favorite place for breakfast in CDMX. Charming location, friendly staff, good coffee and amazing bagels.

Beautiful location in front of a small courtyard with a fountain. The place is small inaide but it offers tables outside, which are really enjoyable due to the area around them. Pretty good coffee while not amazing.
