As a dutchie who has been living in Mexico for 6 months, feels like I was back home!
The experience was pretty average overall. Maybe if you go in the afternoon it would be a little better? We ordered the waffle with “Philadelphia” cheese and fruit, but it came with raw slices of packaged cream cheese that weren’t melted at all, and the waffle itself wasn’t even hot. It also took about 20 minutes to arrive, which felt long for something simple. We originally wanted to order other items, but were told the oven wasn’t turned on. Because of that, a large part of the menu wasn’t available. We tried to order three different things, and was told that none of those options were available. All of them were on the breakfast side of the menu. In the end, we ordered the chilaquiles, which were decent. One positive is that when you order an extra side of eggs, they give you two, which is generous. Overall, nothing was terrible, but the limited menu availability made it just an average experience.
Delightful place in Mexico, found it literally by following my nose to the wonderful smell of waffles. Staff were very accomodating and excellent. Food was also on point no issues.
If you are looking for delicious Dutch delicacies, look no further. As a Dutchie myself, I can attest to the authenticity of the delicious stroopwafels, frikadellen, and fries. After meeting owner Koen, who is the son of a Dutch baker, you understand why the food tastes so good - he is passionate about bringing Dutch cuisine to Mexico City! It’s pretty much like being home. Will be back!
Cute spot in the Juarez area to get non Mexican food at high prices. The food was great that we tried and the service was incredibly friendly. Very relaxed seating and quick service. I do feel prices are a bit high though even for Mexico City standards.
