Convite is a must-visit in the area if you love good coffee and well-made pastries. It's one of those places where you can sit and relax on the sidewalk, watch the world go by, and have a great time without any rush. The service is excellent right up until the very last minute, both at opening and closing time, which is greatly appreciated. That said, we're talking about high-end coffee and pastries, so be prepared to spend a bit more. It's worth it, but it's not exactly budget-friendly. A spot to treat yourself and enjoy yourself at your leisure.
Great for working from home or as a small coworking space, the street view is also very enjoyable, a reflection of the beautiful Portales Sur neighborhood. The cakes and pastries are very good; I would only improve two things: their disposable to-go cups because every time I take my latte, the material starts to melt (from the heat, I suppose), and I would also suggest that customers be told NOT to park in the crosswalk. The other day I took my grandfather there, and it was very inconvenient not being able to get his wheelchair through.
We went this Saturday, and every time I go I like it more. The photography exhibit is by an artist named Fernando Aceves; it's an imaginary journey to an ideal place. The food and service continue to be the reason I return. That photo of Louis Armstrong seems to tell a story that should be made public. Congratulations!
Deli
Not as good as they think they are, luxury prices for ok pastries. Aranzazu in the same neighborhood is better
