Café Toscano

Listen all the food in Mexico City is great, but Cafe Toscano caught me by surprise. I was sitting here and working all day, ate brunch and dinner here. I got an intimate experience with all of the staff here, including the Chef who was extremely kind. I ordered the French toast for brunch, which was cooked to perfection. They added a mascarpone whipped cream and fruity jam, which paired quite nicely with the toast itself. For dinner, my boyfriend and I ordered a lasagna and pizza and boy were they great! We spent seven hours here and in total spent $90 dollars for brunch, dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day. I hope I will make it back one day.

Absolutely loved this place: the food was fresh and delicious, and the coffee was excellent. The service was warm and attentive, and the whole atmosphere felt incredibly cozy and welcoming. Even the bathroom was beautifully designed, such a charming detail that shows how much care goes into every part of this restaurant. I’ll definitely be back!

This cafe is super cute! The food was excellent and Xavier out waiter was very attentive. The staff speaks English, but the food and experience is authentic. I love the location next to the park!

My husband and I popped in for an impromptu bite and everything was amazing! We had the kale Caesar and roasted cauliflower which were both SO fresh, and split a margarita pizza. Service was wonderful as well and we will definitely be back!

The hostess was absolutely wonderful and had a great attitude. The food was excellent. The views are great would’ve been nice. If the waiter could smile his energy felt like he didn’t want to be there, but the food made up for that vibe. Also could simply be the fact that I’m a gringo visiting this country at this time. Decided to tip well anyway.
