Café Passmar

This place is worth the hype. They have a restaurant for dine-in and a cafe to-go. Tried their hot chocolate, Americano, Hot Taro, Flat White. Chilaquiles con carne. All taste great. Their prices and portions are very good. They do not charge tax in the traditional sense. It's already embedded in their prices on the menu. They bag fresh roasted coffee beans.

Great coffee, friendly staff. Too busy for their own good. Lost my order a few times. Waited 40 minutes for an espresso

I discovered this cafe a few years ago and I remember their coffee to be excellent! But the quality has come down drastically.. such a disappointment. And don’t bother with the overpriced food at all !

Found this place through chatgpt and we didn't regret. Great coffee that we ended buying some beans. Breakfast was also good. Staff is friendly and great service. This is inside a market with many other great shops including fruits, vegetables. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Absolutely loved this place. I visited a ton of specialty coffee while in Mexico City and Cafe Passmar was my favorite. The coffee is exceptional, well roasted and complex. The coolest part is finding such a great coffee shop tucked into a public market. I was staying in the Del Valle neighborhood and walked over in the morning, got to explore a little bit and found this gem hidden away. Hidden away from the tourists because there was a good size line inside to get my coffee. I love markets and I love them even more when there is specialty coffee inside!
