Café La Perla

I needed somewhere before sunrise when nowhere was open - this was the perfect find. A lovely little spot open all hours!

Tortas, coffee, food is just excellent!! This place has been there forever, I don't think they have changed anything since I can remember. The service is fast even when there are a lot of people. The tirtss are delicious, and every time I go to México City, I have to stop there at least once!!

Great food, friendly service and atmosphere. Both the torta de milanesa and the torta de pierna are delicious, I recommend eating with the cortido they give you. The coffee is quite good as well.

Hidden gem of authentic Chilango life. Coffee and torta Perla Special (heaps of chilaquiles and milanesa) with the plus of friendly locals talking about chess and great music coming from the kitchen...I just was immersed in a time capsule of the good old days of Mixoac.

I've only bought the coffee grounds, never tried the food. But the coffee is perfectly roasted. I only drink espresso, so that's the one I get. The service is always friendly!
