Casual restaurant serving homestyle breakfast & pan dulce, plus lunch, dinner & late-night meals....
Wow, please eat here. It’s phenomenal. The most authentic and good restaurant in centro. Not a single other gringo in the place, but wow the food is incredible and the service is excellent, as are the prices. If I’m ever back in Mexico City I’ll be making a beeline for here
Been here 4 times for breakfast and the food is wonderful, quick, service is friendly. Highly recommend as an ideal breakfast spot. As a foreigner no issues with illness despite drinking orange juice and having salsa. Also very affordable for $120-180 pesos per person ($5-8 USD)
It was a busy place. It's not exactly Mexican cuisine to me...the food was ok. Our party had chicken, beef, ham and cheese sandwich, and tamale. We also had flan - the chocolate one, cappuccino, and the original flavor. They are also just ok. Otherwise, the service was good and the atmosphere was chill.
We stopped by late at night since we remembered it was right next to our previous hotel. There was a long line, but we added our names to the list, and in about 10 minutes they offered us seats at the bar. Our server, Sandra, was fantastic—she quickly offered us drinks, and we ordered the naranjada (super refreshing, made with real juice) and a hot chocolate (so good!). For food, we tried the poblano soup (creamy and delicious), the sopa azteca (similar to tortilla soup but even better), the mole enchiladas (vegan style), and a sweet piece of bread—ojo de buey, which was absolutely yummy. If you happen to be in the area, you definitely need to pay them a visit. The prices are also very affordable. You’re welcome. 😊
Food was delicious and the day of the dead bread was really good. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Mexico City to stop here they have lots of options for food
