Edgy, buzzing venue with regular live music serving artisan & imported beers, plus enchiladas & BBQ....
I like this place. The decor is fun and embraces the macabre and alternative rock scene. We were impressed with their own line of beer and artisan beers. We didn't eat here however, just had drinks. The woman who served us was an absolute pleasure. We stopped in unplanned on karaoke night and enjoyed the good vibes. Definitely a comfortable spot to chill, hang out with friends and appreciate the darker side of music.
I didn't eat but the food looked good and the wild turkey was tasty. Excellent service and a cool vibe.
The interior is super cool and goth, but they played Adele and Demi Lavato? Bathrooms were FILTHY! Service was non-existent. Drinks were really good though. Truly a Bizarro Cafe.
Tucked into Avenida Yucatán in the bustling Roma Norte, Bizarro Café is a vibrant, slightly off-beat bar and café that’s earned a loyal following for its eclectic atmosphere and lively crowd. With a solid 4.4-star rating, this spot melds dive-bar charm with quirky décor and an energetic vibe that makes it more than just a place for drinks — it’s a social scene unto itself. Step inside and you’ll find dark, creative interiors and a soundtrack that leans into rock, punk, and alternative beats, setting the tone for relaxed evenings with friends. Live music and occasional performances elevate the energy on select nights, transforming the space into an impromptu mini-venue. The menu leans casual but satisfying: juicy burgers and bar-friendly eats like BBQ dishes and wings get good marks, and drink deals (such as 2-for-1 before 9 pm) make it budget-friendly. Reviewers mention that service can be mixed — sometimes slow during busy periods — and beers occasionally arrive warmer than expected, but the overall vibe often outshines these minor gripes. Perfect for a laid-back night with cheap drinks, music, and an alternative crowd, Bizarro Café is a Roma Norte staple worth a stop.
Decorations and theme are ok, probably its best feature. Didn't try food but I had a couple of drinks. They were ok. It's the kind of place that's always busy because of its location. Service is slow and unkind. Prices seem reasonable. The crowd tend to hip and pose.
