The place is nicely decorated, but the service is incredibly slow, and the food isn't well prepared. I ordered nachos, and they were awful—a handful of nachos with cold cheese (even my homemade ones are this bad). They were expensive for what they were. The drinks took 30 minutes to arrive, and we can only imagine the quality because they gave us the bare minimum. I don't recommend it. The food is overpriced for what you get and how it's served. The only redeeming feature is the mini churros. Note: The bathrooms are disgusting, dirty, and flooded.
I really enjoyed the food. I ordered molletes, and they weren't on a bolillo roll but on a croissant—I was pleasantly surprised, and they were delicious! The chocolate waffle was also amazing. The only downside was the extremely slow service. Our food wasn't very elaborate (just molletes), and they took ages. The waffles came out quickly, but we were getting desperate because we were starving, and they hadn't even brought the juice or breakfast, even though they were practically empty.
I love this place! The decor is so cute and the service was great. I ordered a crepe and my husband had a wrap. Both items were delicious.
We went out for dinner and ended up here. When we arrived, they told us the kitchen was about to close, but the experience was still terrible. They took ages even though there was hardly anyone there, and they lost two of our orders. When we asked for them again, it took forever, and in the end, they gave them to us "on the house" as a "complimentary" gift. The churros they also brought us as a "complimentary" gift because of the delay were burnt and hard. Some of the food that did arrive was good (like a waffle), but the crepes were bland and half-cooked. In short, we won't be going back.
I stopped by almost every weekday to work from the cafe. Their internet is great and their breakfast outside of their waffles is good. Highly recommend asking for their salsa macha for your eggs. The staff is friendly and coffee is good.
