Semilla Café

This is my absolute favorite co-working/coffee spots in Laureles. I’m literally here everyday or every other day Staff is amazing and attentive Clean, good drinks and food as well as central to everything. It’s walking distance to my AirBnB’s Best thing about this place is the super fast internet

Coffee is ok taste wise. My americano was burnt. If you read the reviews it seems there’s a pattern here. Some folks are kind. The older waitress not so much. She’s fake nice. She seemed upset because I didn’t want to buy food today which is silly because I typically pay for coworking above and I rarely stay long in the cafe. Carolina is great vibes though. The guy seems only kind at the time you tip when paying otherwise you’re bothering if you ask him for anything. WiFi is decent.

It's a decent place to work. The Wi-Fi is good and it's pretty easy to find seating with an outlet close by. I will say that the staff is pretty careless and unintentive. You kind of have to help them do their job. You could ask for the check three times but not get it until the 5th. Also, even though it's a co-working space, if there are people in there acting like it's a playground, the staff just ignores it. There should be some sort of implied standard of behavior but when people aren't respecting that it's a co-working space, something should definitely be said by staff. I only ate here twice but it was terrible both the times. When I got the eggs, I took one bite and I knew that something wasn't right. Definitely got some slight food poisoning after. That was the last time I ate there. The time before that, I got french fries and they were undercooked. It's kind of hard to mess up french fries. Maybe they should just start serving coffee and keep it at that.

Kind stuff, and delicious salads. And it’s cheap. I had a online meeting and the wifi was slow but that’s understandable since lots of nomads are working at the same time. Overall I enjoyed experience in this cafe!

Great spot for working/eating/drinking. Staff are friendly. There are plenty of places to charge your computer and there is free wifi. The salads are delicious, and the lemonades too. Coffee is very good. Friendly atmosphere and vibe. Would recommend.
