Decently priced brunch items compared to the breakfast cafes in the area! Enjoyed the Neapolitan toast and the savoury waffles. We tried the macadamia frap as well but try as we might, we could not sense the macadamia in the room with us. Note that making any eye contact with those right outside or performers will be an invitation for them to ask for cash in their cap. Overall still very enjoyable experience.
Pergamino was recommended by someone on YouTube and I'm glad I checked it out. Wound up visiting 4 times to different locations around Medellín during my week there in January 2026. My favorite dish was the chicken bowl and hot matcha with oat milk. Healthy and tasty. I couldn't get enough and kept coming back. I even bought a Pergamino coffee cup for my dad at the airport too. Cuídense y hasta luego!
Pergamino I think it’s the ideal cafe. Really good coffee, really great food, relaxed but aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, and reasonably priced. Slightly fruity Colombian coffee 8.6/10 Generally not a fan of fruity flavoured beans but this one may have changed my mind. Egg sandwich 8.8/10 Perfectly cooked eggs, creamy sauce, perfect amount of food for breakfast. Only thing I would change is having the bacon be crispy but that’s my personal preference. Pinches Huevos 9.2/10 Tangy tomatillo sauce, cheesy pull, sweetness from the corn, very creamy, jammy eggs! Paired with a delicious cornbread.
The Perfect Pre-Flight Surprise – Wish We’d Found It Sooner! On our last morning in Medellín, we stopped here for a quick breakfast before our flight—and instantly regretted not discovering this gem earlier in the trip. The vibe was exactly what I crave when traveling: laid-back, friendly people, a relaxed outdoor setting, a few local dogs lounging nearby, and great conversations all around. It had that effortlessly cool energy that makes you want to stay a little longer, sip your coffee a little slower, and just soak it all in. Speaking of coffee—it was rich, smooth, and the perfect compliment to a flavorful breakfast. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked like a work of art, each one somehow better than the last. The food was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. If we make it back to Medellín (and we hope we do), this spot will definitely be one of our first stops. Whether you're heading out of town or just starting your day, this is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression.
They say the best Colombian beans never stay in the country — they get shipped out before locals even get a whiff. But if you’re in Medellín and want to break that cycle, Pergamino is your answer. Tucked near Parque Lleras, this specialty café delivers everything a good coffee experience should. The service? Friendly and professional. The vibe? Clean, modern, and buzzing without being chaotic. You’ll find digital nomads on laptops, locals deep in conversation, and tourists looking for their first real cup. I don’t usually drink milk coffee anymore, but I made an exception — and I’m glad I did. The flat white was beautifully balanced: no bitterness, just smooth, complex flavor notes that reminded me why good beans matter. Reasonably priced too, which helps in a city where “artisanal” often means “overpriced.” Definitely worth the hype. I’ll be back.
