Maka, Coffe with Love

I don’t get coffee shops that only have an expresso machine and call themselves Gourmet or even a coffee shop. Especially in Colombia!

Best place ever. When I’m in Medellin I Go here every noon. Welcoming staff & the owner is a great person. I saw a review here from someone saying the owner charges a fee for working here, that’s a LIE. I literally pop my computer open from 12-8 everyday and they don’t care. Stop trying to hurt these small businesses guys that’s not cool.

Next to the hotel but not a good spot for working, the coffee is consistently mediocre. I wouldn’t actively go out of my way to go here.

I was disappointed- the food is pretty flavorless and doesn’t look like the photos at all. Fruit parfait says it comes with fresh fruit and chocolate but there was no shaved chocolate and it was canned cherries and large hunks of canned pinnacle. The avocado toast wasn’t even toasted, and the service was super long and slow. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks
