Café Macanas was a solid stop. The latte was easily 5-star quality — bold, slightly bitter just how I like it, with that smooth Colombian flavor that hits right. You can tell they know their coffee. The ham and cheese pastry was decent. Flavor was there, but I would’ve liked it a bit more toasted with a hotter center to really elevate it. Still, it held it down and paired well with the latte. Overall, great coffee spot — I’d definitely come back for another cup. ☕️
Hidden gem! This place is way better than some of the fancier and well known breakfast spots in Provenza! (And I’ve gone to a lot of them) It’s very unassuming. You don’t expect much from the decor, but I’ve literally come 3 days in a row now. Not only is it cheaper than the other spots, but you get larger portions and it’s tastier! I hope this comment helps with their marketing because they deserve it!
Great little coffee shop. Lots of treats and other delicious drinks. The sandwiches are wonderful.
The coffee is excellent. I had the SL28 as a caffe latte and it honestly has the smell and telaste of blackberries just like the profile says. It was prepared with precision and care and I would come back here anytime!
Easily one of our absolute favorites in Medellín! The food is out of the world good, the atmosphere A+, and the staff is all super friendly. We’ve been here twice and plan to pop in a few more times on our trip. Usually 3 tables are covered (the one against the right wall has an outlet if you need it), and 4 more tables on the sidewalk. They typically have some nice music playing as well. HIGHLY recommended!
