As a German, this Dürüm was offensive to me. It didn't have any flavour whatsoever and when I unwrapped it, the contents just fell out. Somehow it was really watery adwell... It's not rolled, but just folded once with tinfoil "rolled" into it, so you have to oull thag out first. I paid 30k which is the same price as in Germany, but I got none of the quality. Too expensive and not good at all. Service was quick and very friendly.
So after strolling through the Poblado neighborhood, I was thirsting for a late night munch. I searched all around for something cheap open after 22:00 that didn’t happen to be a meat loaded with cheese which seemed like didn’t exist at all. Somehow I came across this German place, yet ironically besides selling burgers that also had here a shawarma wrap! The worker at the cashier, Manuel, was super friendly and welcoming. I asked for a recommendation for something to drink and he recommended a great Hatsu Tea catered to my liking. I barely waited for the food to the come out. The wrap was amazing. My only critique would be my wrap could’ve been wrapped a little better because it got messy for me. Along the food came 5 different sauces and my personal favorite - the garlic sauce. Alongside the wrap was served thin potato chips nicely seasoned, a little on the softer side for me personally, but overall an amazing addition. All of that goodness and I only spent like 4000 COP without tip. It was perfect.
Do not expect food that tastes like you were in Germany. If you blindfolded me and asked me to identify what I just ate I would not have guessed curry wurst. I would have said a hot dog dipped in tomato soup. Please, even ketchup with a nice amount of curry powder comes much closer to German curry wurst. The quality was not bad, it’s just not German. The falafels are frozen and then deep fried. Again, not terrible, but just ok. The prices are good.
This is a reasonable place. If you want fast food that's not crazy expensive for the area and good service, it's worth a go. Service is generally fast and I like their vegetarian burger. The only small negatives for me are that one employee got pretty pushy with me when I declined to tip. I'm not American and it's not normal for me or in my country. However, everyone else there is pretty nice and friendly. The other very small thing is that I prefer quieter music. However, I realise I'm likely in the minority. Overall, I'd say it's 4.5/5.0 Éste lugar es bastante reasonable. Buen servicio y precios para esta zona y la mayoría de empleados son amables. La comida vegetariana es sabrosa. En general, yo lo recomiendo para solo personas y grupos pequeños.
I love this place! Food is just amazing and super delicious. My favorite is the German burger and the Döner Kebab. They have a lot of good sauces, such as spicy, mustard and yoghurt. I usually go for lunch during weekdays and they offer a special reduced menu ! A MUST in Medellin.
