January 6th, 2026 Went there for the second time as the first time was fantastic. We went with a visitor and had a really bad experience on our second visit. The main issue was the server. We placed our order and waited. I opted for the fettucini and meatballs. Given my spanish is not great I tried ordering and my wife who is from Medellin helped me place the order. We made it very clear what I wanted, fettucini and meatballs. When my order showed up there was only meatballs. We hailed the server and said there must have been a misunderstanding as I ordered fettucini and meatballs. The server told us we were all wrong and that I order only meatballs. My wife corrected him saying we wanted what we ordered and he insisted that we were all wrong and that he was right. For about 1-2 minutes there was a dialogue between the server and my wife and his face clearly showed anger. At that point I said we were done I all of my years of eating out I have never had a server argue with us. For godsake, take the meatballs back and bring the proper order. I was choked and told him I was done and to bring us the bill. He then said he was still going to charge us for the stupid meatballs regardless. When he brought the bill he included a tip on the bill. Seriously, after wrecking our nice night out he wanted us to tip him for that privledge. We asked to speak to the manager he said that he was in charge. Will never go back again, a real shame.
Was worried this Medellín Museum of Modern Art adjunct might be overpriced and underwhelming. I found the opposite. The açaí bowl was wonderful as well as the fruit bowl which was big enough to split around the table. My hot chocolate with water was great although had a bit too much cardamom. The pungent aroma should enhance not overpower the cacao. My lunch date had the avocado roasted tomato bagel and loved it. We were in a shaded area which was lovely and comfortable, and it was great to see the dogs running in the park. And looking it up to the magnificent structure of the art museum is a great experience.
Really nice and quiet place, good for brunch and conversations with friends. Food is really good. My favorite: “Huevos fit”
Good food but the service was slow, the waiter seems to be poorly trained on the menu. But the food was consistent with the other's locations.
Love this Ganso y castor location, specially on the weekends where they often have live music, often it will be jazz. Out of all their delicious options I really like their hot Cocoa 70%. Also, it's nice to be here on a Sunday afternoon when people bring their lovely dogs to the park right next. Super recommended!
