El Viejo y El Pancake

Cool spot for an American breakfast run by a wonderful couple. You may have to wait a bit when they get busy but it’s in enjoyable place for a leisurely breakfast. My favorites were the scrambled eggs and sausage. I’ll definitely be stopping in again.

Absolutely a fantastic place for American breakfast . The owners are wonderful and friendly people and the food is prepared with such attention to detail of authenticity to the foods . This place is by far the closest anyone will find to American breakfast . When you become tired of instant coffee , and rice and beans for breakfast in Medellin, el viejo pancake is a refreshing oasis for a comfort breakfast in a great location with great hosts . Highly recommend!!

Very nice breakfast! The pancakes are good but I was expecting a little bit more quantity for the price. The owner is nice and friendly. He will not hesitate to top up your cup of coffee :- )) There is also a free Wi-Fi connection.

Best American style breakfast in Medellin! The food is excellent and they serve the best coffee I've had here. The owners David & Lexi are friendly and professional. If you don't try this place you're crazy!

Really Amazing Breakfast!! I started with the carnivore burrito, short stack of blueberry pancakes, and a coffee. The pancakes were light and fluffy.. the blueberries were plump and juicy, the burrito had great flavors, and the coffee was fresh and delicious. Since I was still a bit hungry (I'm a big guy) I ordered another short stack and a side of sausage. Again, everything was amazing. I also was happy with how inexpensive it was. And the couple running the place were super friendly and spoke both English and Spanish. I highly recommend eating here. I'll be back very soon!
