I can honestly say that this coffee shop has the best coffee in the area. The cachitos and empanadas are a must- try-- fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. And don't leave without trying the alfajores; they're incredible and easily some of best I've had. The service also stands out. María Elena is always so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Great coffee, amazing pastries, and the nicest people--highly recommend!

Time to land in Madrid and take the bus from the airport to my hotel and this was literally the first place I saw where I could have had a bite. What a fabulous stroke of luck that it turned out to be such a good one! The menu of this restaurant is both very rich and very limited: most of the food on offer is in fact some sort of empanada. What's amazing is the great amount of different empanadas that are available! I had a chance to try only 2 and they both tasted delicious. Small size, perfect for a quick bite or to try different combos, cooked to perfection and full of filling, not half empty as it often happens. The waiter was very gentle and helped me despite my almost non-existent Spanish.

The place is so cozy and you can feel that everything is made with lots of care. I’ve tried chipa and alfajores and they were simply amazing, I would eat them again and again. I’m Italian and I am pretty sure it was the best cappuccino I tried in Madrid. 10/10!!! Thanks Gonzalo, it was like travelling to Argentina for a breakfast

We love the empanadas here. Tasty fillings with meat, creamy corn, and basil+tomato. The lady in the counter was helpful and cheerful. Recommended!
