Santagloria

Hygiene is questionnable here. Around 2pm today, there was no hand soap in their restroom. I told one of the 2 ladies working about it and she was more pissed off than concerned. The cafe was not busy, I was the only customer buying something at that time. I waited for 15 minutes and went back to the restroom and the hand soap dispenser remained to be empty. I could tell the dispenser has been empty for quite some time since not even a drop of the liquid soap was available. Imagine the workers using the restroom, just washing their hands with water, and preparing and touching the food, definitely a big hygiene concern.

Space is nice, but outlets don’t work and there is no wifi. Coffee is good.

Coffee place is nice and cozy however it's a shame the staff are so unfriendly and unwelcoming. I've been there several times but won't be returning due to the poor service. I came to check the reviews and I'm surprised to see so many negative comments about the staff and yet they haven't done much about this. They have also purposely disabled all switches so people cannot go there with their laptops to work...

I love this place, was my first breakfast in Madrid and i’m in love, croissants are so fresh and delicious, I can recommended also tostadas with avocado! And vanilla coffee delicious!

Terrible that this Santagloria doesn’t have free WiFi for clients. Also, the power sockets are blocked with tape so you can’t charge anything. One of the purposes of modern coffee shops is to have the ability to do remote work or at least check your emails for an hour or two. Shame that I paid for a coffee just to later know I couldn’t connect to the internet.
